I'm into researching all my family ties all over the U.S.A. and U.K. I've gotten loads of Info from treading cemeteries and talking to people, beating the bushes. I've found out that alot of my father's people came over from England and settled in and around Jamestown,Va. They eventually migrated southward in NC,SC,Ga,La, Mis,and in Texas. I have found some all over U.S. I'm not sure about my mother's people, most are found in and around Pitt Co, NC. The Aycock's of Calvin Aycock (ggg-Grandfather) has a reunion usually in 1st week in October alternating in NC and Ga. I am a distant relative of Charles Brantley Aycock former governor of North Carolina. I'm especially thankful there's some people out there that has preserved our heritage and history. It makes it all the more interesting.
