I am 5th generation decendant and would like to have any and all who think they might be related to our family to e-mail me and let me know. I am hoping to find someone with information leading to the parentage of Daniel Ayres who is said to have been born in Baskin Ridge, Sommerset County, NJ. or possibly Montgomer County, PA. Most of our research leads back to NJ, so far. A church there called Baskin Ridge Presbeterian had some records of some Ayres people coming from Scotland before and around 1700. These Ayres people spelled their name Ayers, as did some of our earlier generations, due to legal flaws or convenience. Possibly both spellings could relate back to the orginal family. We would like to have an Ayres reunion in 2005 at a place of convenience in the US for all that are able to come. We do know that alot of the Ayres from my family settled in the m,id-western states, Illinois and Missouri. I have had contact with two in California as well. To all with Ayres decendants, we'd love to hear from you.
