In 1981, Marion Fox Graves published a biography and geneology titled, "Three Bacon Brothers" detailing the the 5 generations of my family decending from Theodore S. Bacon of Allegany County, NY, along with Theodore's two brothers Fredrick and Benjamin. It has since been confirmed that their father was Amos Bacon Jr, establishing the 6th generation shown below. The 7th generation is thought to be Amos Bacon, Sr, of the Town of Sutherland, VT where the first records there mention an Amos Bacon as early as 1779, showing the registration mark recorded for his sheep and cattle. Little or no birth, marriage, children or death information has been developed on Amos Sr.
