Tracking our family tree from ancestor John MacCoone of Aberdeenshire, Scotland to Cambridge, Massachussetts and Westerly, Rhode Island, to the 12th generation of his descendants from upstate New York to Texas and California.

Later I hope to add cross references for the Saunders, Crandall, Babcock, Maxon and other Westerly, Rhode Island families that intermarried with the MacCoone/Coon line and are also our ancestors.

I have very little information on my father's family (Bachelder,) at least beyond my great grandparents. I would greatly appreciate any new information on the Bachelder and Coon families or other related family names. All additions, connections and corrections are welcome. There are lots of cousins out there, and I'd love to hear from you!
