RENOLDS:( Dutch ) b. NY was John W. Hambrook's wife. Her name was Catherine, but she was called Thene. This family sometimes is spelled Hambrook, sometimes Hambrock. They resided as a family in Essex County, W. Newark, New Jersey about 1849 and by 1880 census were residing in 16th Ward, in NYC. Thene was the mother of the above three children. Sarah married more than once, did not have any children. Her last husband was Joseph Howell, they married in NYC, resided their. Did well in a family business, Sears and Howell, 18th Street.
