1. Based on what his sisters say, Jimmy was married a number of
times and had several children

2. A card hand-out during Jimmy's funeral had the following written
on it, "Service-Station Attendant found dead in his car A 33-year-
old Service-Station attendant was found dead in the front seat of the
car at the station today. James Robert Jackson had closed a Conoco
Station at 4509 Poplar Leval Road about 9 p.m. Saturday, reported
Chief Deputy Coroner William S. Anderson, and was found at 6:30 a.m.
today when another employee opened the station. The cars ignition
and air-conditioning were turned on, and both the car door and garage
door were closed, Anderson Said. He attibuted death to carbon-
monoside poisoning. The body is at Forman Funeral Home, 10600
Taylorsville Road, in Jeffersontown."

3. Another obit reads, "Jackson, Mr. James Robert Passed away Sat.
evening June 8 1968 in his 34th year. Residnece S. 2nd St. Beloved
son of Mrs. Venda Jackson; devoted brother of Mrs. Charles (Betty)
Cox, Mrs. Donald (Sarah) Fishcher, Mrs. Daryll (Mary) Wentworth, Mrs.
Charles (Audry) Graham, and Misses Jacquelyn and Catherine Jackson.
Mr. Jackson is resting at the Okolona Home of Arch L. Heady and Son,
8519 Preson Hgwy, were services will be conductedWed. at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Evergreen Cemetery."
