Aloha! My name is Lovi Bajo. I am currently working on my "Pao" family genealogy. My Grandfather Lope Beradio Pao was born September 25, 1893, Siquijor, Negors, OL Philippines. At the age of 19 yrs. old. He sailed on a ship to Oahu, Hawaii. Arrived in Hawaii December 12, 1912 on the SS Syberyia Quitong, Isidore. He was assigned to work at The Kahuku Plantation Sugar Company.Information found Micro-film# 1205195 @BYU Mormon Temple Family History Center, Laie, Oahu, Hawaii T.H. Was later discharged by Kahuku Plant. acct. strike 1924. See file 645, letter 4/9/24. Later worked at Kahuku Hosp.

His Mother's name: Thecla Beradio
Brother Name: Antonio Pao -
Sisters Name: Patricia Pao (Bation)
Sisters Name: Leonicia Pao (Dandoy)

His Brother Antonio Pao - Date of Born on July 13, 1900. Arrived Honolulu July 18, 1929 on the Pres. Pierce at the age of 29. He worked at Kahuku Sugar Mill from July 19, 1929 to 1931. He left back to the Philippines (possible reason to bring wife to Hawaii) Came back in 1933 and worked for 3 months. Later left again. Desire to return next month May 29, 1958. But on May 5, 1958 - Inquiry for his wife passage was denied because he had broke his contract. See Mircro-fim# 1205195. (finger print) on remark card.
