Mary Kathryn Carroll (daughter of Hilton Welch Carroll and C. Delia Harrison) was born 11 Dec 1920 in Rocky Comfort, MO, and died 28 Feb 2006 in Fayetteville, AR. She married William Clarence Baker, son of James Frank Baker and Minnie Jane Johnson.

Kathryn was born in Missouri, and attended school in Rocky Comfort, MO, before moving to
Madison County, AR. When she was a teenager, she used to go to families who had just had
a baby, and live with them for a couple of weeks, and take care of laundry, other children, and
cooking to help out.

She was the wonderful mother of 2 children, Bobby and Annis Baker, and had 4 grandchildren,
and 4 great-grandchildren. Wm C. Baker was her first husband, and father of the two children.

After she was divorced in 1963, she married Lois Stapleton and they lived in Springdale, AR.
Kathryn worked for J C Penneys department store for 13 years, in the shoe department, at
N.W. Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville, AR.

She was an active member of the Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale for many
years, and beloved by many. She was excellent cook, and a good seamstress. She
loved to laugh, and spent lots of time with her family.

She and her lst husband, Lois are buried in Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, AR.

Children of Mary Kathryn Carroll and William Clarence Baker are:
