Includes NotesNotes for Hilton Welch Carroll:
Hilton was a quite man, and very sweet. He had a team of mules, and wagon, and he did
cuss those old mules often, but was soft-spoken to people, his family and wife. He was a
hard worker, but as many of his time, remained just a poor farmer, until he was unable to
do farm work anymore. He and his wife Delia sold their farm up Flemings Creek, and moved
to St. Paul, AR in a house that belonged to their son, Welch Carroll. They lived there until'
Hilton died, and then Delia moved to Springdale to live with her daughter, Kathryn.

He was survived by a brother, Dewey Carroll of Tennessee, and one sister, Mrs Virginia Morris
of Springdale, AR.
