Frederick See was killed by the Shawnee, and at
that time his wife Catherine See and his children were taken as prisoners of the Shawnee tribe. They were released at Fort Pitt (now Pittsburg) about 1761.

Chief Cornstalk had a wife (adopted white woman) named Catherine See, who he "married" in 1763.
They had a daughter named Mary Cornstalk in 1764. He had 3 other wives at the same time, and many, many children. I believe this Catherine See was the daughter of Frederick.

Frederick's father fought under the command of George Washington . He was shot at the Battle of Brandywine.

The name See, originally was "Zeh".
