Nonhaleme Catrina Cornstalk (daughter of Whitefish Okowellos Sunfish) died date unknown. She married Moluntha.

Includes NotesNotes for Nonhaleme Catrina Cornstalk:
Nonhelema Cornstalk, was the sister of Chief Cornstalk. The British called her "Grenadier Squaw" because of her imposing stature (she was 6ft 6inches tall, and very well formed) She was married to Moluntha, who was killed in 1786 by whites. She started riding into battles covered with war paint.

She had an adopted white daughter, Fani.

Literate, lovely and intimidating, Nonhelma was the Women's Peace Chief of the Shawnee Nation and a
legend in her own time. In 1774, as three thousand Virginians waited to attack her tirbe's homeland, her
pleas for peace was denied. Soe she loyally became a fighter, striding into battle. Negotiating an armistice with military leaders of the American Revolution, including Daniel Boone and George Rogers Clark, she found herself estranged from her own people, and betrayed by her white allies. She was a remarkable leader, a woman whose heart was too big for the world she wished to tame.

She was a guide and consort to George Morgan, as he tried to build trading colonies from the mountains to the Mississippi. She had borne him a son, Morgan.

She also had a son by Alexander McKee, named him Thomas McKee, after his grandfather.

Grenadier' Squaw's Town is located opposite the Scippo Creek from Cornstalk's Town. The Town was named for her. This is in Pidkway County, Ohio, just east of the present U.S. Hwy 23.

Children of Nonhaleme Catrina Cornstalk and Moluntha are:
  1. Fani (Fanny) Cornstalk, b. 1755, d. 1781.
  2. Morgan Cornstalk, d. date unknown.
  3. Thomas Mckee Cornstalk, d. date unknown.
