RESIDENCES: from Merry Baker Barnaskey's 1-95 letter: From the various notes that I've found that my grandmother wrote I find, "The Baker homestead is the town of Warren in Herkimer County. The Bakers came from Rhode Island. Great grandmother Baker's (of Richard Matteson Sr.) christian name was Deliverance - she lived in Rhode Island during the Revolution and died at Russia, Herkimer Co, NY age 97 yo."
BURIAL: Edith Goodwin Baker's notes: The Baker Homestead is in Warren, Herkimer, Co. There are Bakers buried at Springfield near Richfield Springs in an old cemetery and some are buried on the Farm at Warren.
