**"The rest of the line is in doubt due to defective records." This Thomas and son Ezekiel have no definite records as being in our family line but an educated guess due to other information. No mention of his wife or children. This line of Bakers may or may not have migrated to the Beekman Patent in eastern NY, or perhaps through CT directly to Warren, Herkimer County, NY about 1800.

This may be the father of the Thomas who migrated from RI to Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, NY. At Hoosick Falls, there is a Gardner Hollow, with many members of a Gardner family buried in the local cemetery. Also found in this cemetery is Thomas Baker, about 81 years old, no dates but others between 1815-1865.
The Beekman patent was granted in 1703 , developed in 1737, and Beekman Patent about 1788. Fishkill developed in 1778 from Rombout Precinct developed in 1685. Great Nine Partners granted in 1697.
