Had 7 children, migrated from RI to VT abt. 1770, listed on 1771 VT census Dick has a copy of his note at Halifax written to his sister re his mother's will. Obtained Halifax land for 'settling duty' in 1783 'Warned Out' of Shaftsbury with 3 sons, 1784. a property settlement?

Baker had a son Peleg Baker (my line), a son Thomas Baker (John Komar and Bonnie Waters line), a son John Baker (Richard Bakers, Mary Peterson & Barry Jernigan's line). This John Baker settle in Fort Ann. He had a son Silas Baker who married Amanda Offensend. The stone I found in this cemetery is for this Silas Baker and his wife Amanda and some of their children. There are many more Baker stones in this cemetery, but I have no connection with our famiy as yet. Attached 3 sides of large gravestone.
