Death certificate lists date of birth as 01 Aug 1866, and his death as 02 Jul 1941, saying that he was seventy-four years eleven months and one day old when he died. Oddly, his grave lists 01 Aug 1866 as his date of birth, the same as the certificate, and 03 Jul 1941, one day later, as his date of death.
