I am one of ninthteen children. The seventh son and thirthteen child of Jessie L. and the late Chester A. Bandy. My parents were
born in Coldwater and Redbank, Mississippi. It has been said that my early ancesters were slaves and experienced the pain of family division through slave trading and selling. Several years ago my immediately family was united with another rather larger sector of Bandy's family members. Since that time we have been graced with the opportunity to meet a whole host of new found relatives. We generally meet every other year celebrating with a major family reunion in various states throughout the U. S. What an awesome privilegic!
