Our Grandfather named SATURNINO BARRETTO has a chinese family name of Uy (Hokien) Wei (Mandarin) from Pohtaw, Lamoa. He was kidnapped for ransom and killed by HUKBALAHAPS of Quezon Province under LT. ALCANTARA and JOSE ESTRADA in 1952. One of our known Chinese relative is UY SAM BIN. My grandfather acquired the Family Name BARRETTO from his filipino godparent/sponsor using the family name BARRETTO. Lolo Saturnino was married to our lola Aurora Alvarez of Atimonan, Quezon. One of their sons is my Father named SERAFIN ALVAREZ BARRETTO.
