Our family traces back a few generations to Devon/Cornwall and the Isle of Man.
I have been told, by my 93 year old Grand-mother that we are linked to someone called Bawden who was with Rhodes in Africa starting, unfortunately the slave trade, something i hope my grandma is wrong about, mind you he was someone's relative.
Anyone who can help me in my search however vague would be appreciated, my family has become so disjointed over the last few generations due to divorce,death and adoption that I fear it will be some task.
