ON MY DAD'S SIDE (CLAYPOOL) I HAVE TRACED MY/OUR ANCESTOR'S BACK TO JAMES CLAYPOOLE AND HELEN MERCER FROM ENGLAND. I AM NOT POSITIVE ON THIS BECAUSE I HAVE JUST STARTING RESEARCHING A FEW WEEKS AGO, SO I NEED TO CONFIRM MY WORK. AFTER I KNOW THAT MY DATA IS TRUE I WILL POST THE REST OF THE TREE. HOWEVER, IF YOU GUYS WANT ME TO POST IT ANYWAY WHILE I AM VARIFING THE INFORMATION LET ME KNOW, I'LL BE GLAD TO DO THAT. ALSO IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION OR PICTURES, EVEN DOCUMENTS PLEASE SHARE THEM. PICTURES CAN BE E-MAILED TO ME(if you have a scanner/digital camera), ANCESTOR'S NAMES COULD BE PASSED ON THROUGH THE PHONE. ON THE SHEARER SIDE I HAVE TRACED BACK TO GEORGE SHOEMAKER b1730 & ANNA M BARBARA. MY GOAL IS TO PUT TOGETHER A SCRAP BOOK OF THE CLAYPOOL'S & SHEARER'S, MY GRANDMA AND GRANDPA'S SURNAMES. THE WHOLE FAMILY, EVERY BRANCH, EVERY LEAVE, THAT MAKE'S A PART OF US TO MAKE A WHOLE TREE! I GUESS I REALLY WOULD LIKE A BOOK OF OUR FAMILY SO THAT MY/YOUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN WILL HAVE SOME IDEA OF WHO WE ARE/WERE AND WHERE WE CAME FROM. IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR PICTURE IN THE BOOK PLEASE WRITE TO ME AND I WILL NOT PUT IT IN THERE. THE MAIN REASON OF ME POSTING THIS WEB PAGE IS FOR MY FAMILY THAT DON'T LIVE BY ME SO THEY CAN SEE WHAT INFORMATION I HAVE FOR THE TREE, AND TO EXCHANGE INFO.
P.S.- KEN, I WILL BE E-MAILING YOU THE INFORMATION THAT I HAVE SO WE CAN COMPARE/EXCHANGE NOTES TO SEE IF I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK!! AND IF YOU COULD PLEASE PASS THIS WEB ADDRESS ONTO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS THAT HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS THAT WOULD BE GREAT. I DON'T HAVE ANY OF THAT INFORMATION AT THE TIME. IT'S BE A LONG TIME SINCE I HAVE SPOKEN TO EVERYONE OUT THAT WAY.

This is a picture that I found in my picture box and I was informed, but I don't know for sure, that this is Velma & Alton Claypoole's second daughter pictured with husband and their daughter. However, this info could be wrong so if you know who it is please let me know so I have the correct data. Thanks!

Here I am (I'm the baby girl) with Ortho and grandpa Claypool is in the back round standing in the door way. I do not remember Ortho but I was told by my mom that he always loved to hold me. I'm pretty sure that I didn't mind that at all!! This picture was taken around 1978-1979 because I was born in '78 and I was just a little one in this picture.
