Matthew Harris of Alabama married Pearlie Acoff. They had seven children;

Julia also bore Lula Bell Harris (b.February 28, 1928, d.October 21, 1978), Coleman Taylor (b.April 3, 1940) and Pearlie Taylor (b. January 7, 1947)
4. Willie (b. April 19, 1915, d.February 6 1990). Willie married Ruth Sylvers, and they had William Harris (b. October 10, 1943).
5. Arzana married James Warmley and had four children; Rosa L., Mary L., Altherias and James Jr.

Julia's oldest, Matthew Bell, married Virginia Lindsey of Dublin, Georgia. They met while Matthew, serving in the military, was hospitalized in Georgia. Virginia is the daughter of Omie Lindsey (b. 1902) and Jimmy Hughes. Omie had two sons; James Anderson Ford and Henry Nathaniel Lindsey. Virginia was named after Omie's mother, who was also named Virginia Lindsey. The elder Virginia's husband was a preacher; name as yet unknown. Virginia and the preacher had a second daughter named Viola. Viola Lindsey married Albert Carswell, and they had about 12 children.
Virginia and Matthew had eight children; Matthew Jr. (b.November 1, 1946; d.February 15, 1987); Loretta (b.September 3, 1949), Gwendolyn (October 17, 1950), Ronald Nathaniel (b. ovember 14, 1951),Paulette (b.January 12, 1953), James Earl (b. May 22 1954), Julia Renell (b. July 24, 1957) and LaMonte Anthony (b.October 22, 1962).
Matthew Jr. married Cynthia Solomon, and they had four boys; Matthew III; Richard, Steven and Sean. Matthew Jr. also fathered Jennifer Brown by Diane Brown.
Loretta Bell had Damon LaMonte Bell by Warren Gantt. Damon married Bridgette Currie, and they had Kaley Amiah.
Gwendolyn had Marlon Keith Bell by Donald Brown and later married Gary Smart and bore Anthony Steven Smart. Marlon married Tamika Barnes, and they had Marlon Jr., Keith Jerome and Dominique Joanne Renell. Marlon also fathered Eric Dragg by Delvenna Dragg.
Paulette had Nicole Dennis by Oliver Dennis.
James and Janean Carter had James Earl Bell Jr. and Atica Lynne Bell. James and Nona Carter had Jazonnique Bell and Labrea Bell. James Jr. married Dorothy Nolan and had Jianna I.L. Bell. Atica has two sons; Carl Broaden Jr. and Allen Williams Jr.
LaMonte married Lynne Hebrard while both were in the military. They had Shauntia and LaMonte Jr. LaMonte and Claudia Aquino had Isiah Bell.
