Have been researching the family trees of the Leverenz's who
migrated to Texas shortly before 1880 from Mecklenberg-Schwerin
Germany.The Goodwins came from somewhere in Ireland, settled
briefly in Mississippi and then settled in Ellis County, TX.
Also researching the Fiedlers who came over from Germany about
1849 to TX.My father Johm Beohm(Bohm) was born in Transylvania
in Rumania and came over on the ship Niagra to New York in 1913
with his mother Katarina Hesch and his sister Maria.He settled
in Youngstown,Ohio and had three children Richard,Karen and Robert of which I am the latter.Johns father George is a complete
mystery as he stayed behind in Germany, probably near Waltersdorf
and probably had lots of children.Bohm was changed to Beohm by
my Grandmother Katherina Hesch.My mother Eleanor Leverenz is
related to Herman Leverenz who was born in Texas.
