Conradh Friederich Bienbelheimer (Conrath Friederich Bientelheimer) left Germany, sailing on the Ship Boston from Rotterdam arrived in Philadelphia on November 10, 1764. Settling in Northampton, PA, with his wife Catharina Dorothea they had six sons. Conradh served in the American Revolution War.
The third generation migrated west to Ohio (Bevelhymer) and to Indiana (Bevelheimer). There are numerous variations the spelling of the original name Bienbelheimer; Bevelheimer, Bevelhymer, Bebelheimer, Beibleheimer, Beibelheimer, Beibleheimer, Bevilheimer, Bevelhimer, Bevilhimer, Bibelheimer, Biebelheimer, Beibleheimer, Beavilheimer, Beavelhamer,Beaverheimer, Beeblehaimer, Beebleheimer, Bevalheimer, Bevelhimer.
The spelling of the names do vary within a family and generation. I looked at Census and Social Security records and other historical document for the varations and have posted the person with the last known and general spelling on the genealogy chart.
