Tyler is a little boy, unaware of the wealth of information that is his ancestoral history. This research aims to document the info for his knowledge, when he grows up and wants to know "Who was grandad?"
Our family tree is located at Vol. 105 Tree 96.
He now has a cousin, Mitchell Verdun Kevin BAKER, who also has a wealth of ancestoral history.
Both of them have a common link in the ship 'Herman von Beckrath' Dec., 1847 - an ancestor of each was on the same ship, for Mitchell there were two! (BICKHOFF & KLOPPER)
An updated family tree is being prepared. (Oct., 2004)
It is now October, 2007, and I have just returned from Germany where I walked on the ground and saw the villages where the Bickhoffs came from! I met Bodo Bickhoff who lives in Paderborn - no immediate relation but from same ancestors.
