Hobart Beals, my father's 1st cousin inspired me into researching
the family. He had recorded the line of descend from John Beals,
the Quaker immigrant from PA. He shared a lot of family stories
that had been pasted down through several generations.

Isaac Beals with his family and some of his brothers migrated to TN, he purchased the family farm in 1796 in Jonesborough TN, his son David bought land next to his father and raised a family of 19 children plus 2 step-children. That farm supported four generations of the Beals family and part of it is still owned by his desendants.

My father Miller & Hobart's grandfather, West Beals was born in 1849, when his father, David was 78 years old, he lived just a few months short of his 100th birthday.
