Just getting started on my research. My father's name was Henry C. Gautreau(x) his sister Laura M.Morgan is the guide to our family history and a font of useable knowledge. Dad's family was descended from many important names of Acadia.
My mom's name was Clair M. Sharp. She was of Irish/Scot decent. I am ever grateful to my cousin Mary (Mickey) Davis for all her help in gaining information to this side of my family.
