My mother's family had already done a fairly detailed genealogy, but my father's side had basically nothing, so I started searching for info. So far, we have traced his mother's side back to John and Mary Keefe of Methuen, Mass in 1854. We know they were both born in Ireland, but don't know where, when, and when they came to America. We have found a cousin we didn't know existed, who is also a direct descendant of John and Mary. Now we are trying to search passenger lists to find out more about the Keefes.
