About Our Family Research

A simple search of both the origins of the name (Birdsall) and my particular branch of the family that arrived in SW North Dakota,USA during the 1880s. The only information is that the father, Joseph arrived with his young son, John and daughter, Rose. The mother had passed away on the journey. The family traveled from New Jersey though Wisconsin and then on to their final destination, southwestern North Dakota near the Green River rail stop that later was named Gladstone after the prime minister of England. The group that settled the area and may have traveled together were of mainly english heredity.
