My researches involve the following names: McNEILLY (Scotland >> Grenada West-Indies >> USA & Canada); MOORE (Grenada West-Indies >> Cuba >> USA); BISENBERGER (Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, USA, other); KROMHOUT (Provinces of North- & South-Holland in The Netherlands, USA, Canada, Brazil); ARXHOEK (Provinces of North- & South-Holland area in The Netherlands); SPIERIEUS (The Netherlands); VUIJK or VUYK (The Netherlands >> Brazil). Other names on the list are MOE, TOUISSANT, NYACK, LEEDHAM, BELMA, SLINGER, ALEXIS, GLEAN, LEEDHAM, DE BELLOTTE/BELOT/any spelling (all names mostly in Grenada, West-Indies) and JACKSON (Girvan, Scotland).
I have not found the origins of the McNEILLY branch in Scotland yet. I need help, beginning with, but preferably prior to (brothers?) Alexander & John McNeilly (father William) leaving the Ayr and/or Glasgow area around 1878 for the St.Patrick and St.Andrew parishes in Grenada, West-Indies. Searching for MOORE relatives is beyond headache; it's a serious migraine. In the USA alone, there are 860.000 Moores. The name BISENBERGER is a chronic pain since it has been vandalized in dozens of ways. KROMHOUT is easier, except for Brazil where nobody seems to speak English and all the websites are in Portuguese.

- My maternal grandparents (20 KB)
Grandpa Adrianus Kromhout 1891-1961, was a baker and grandma Hendrika van de Geer 1887-1956, was a midwife. They died long before I came to my senses. I never really got to know them. Such a pity.
- My paternal grandparents, pictured with me in 1965 (26 KB)

My son. From his base in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, he pilots B767's for a living. It gives me the creeps every time I think of it.
