My great grandfather William Mintram lived at 15 Chapel St. Southampton, England. He was 46 when he worked on the Titanic as a fireman and drowned when the ship sank. He was married to Elsa May Rose Vale who passed away prior to him working on the Titanic. They had 5 children, William Jr., Charles, George, May & Rosina. Rosina married Walter Hurst who was also a fireman on the Titanic, he survived. William Jr. settled in Canada, married and had 3 children, Rose, Violet (Fjola) & Valdimar.
Both Wm. Jr. & Charles joined the Royal Canadian Dragoons at the start of WW1. I am trying to locate Lorraine Jordan who was a Canadian student who knew Charles, she did a report on him. Rose married Otto Tiefisher& they had 5 children, Violet married Oscar Sveinbjornson and they had 4 children, Valdi married Clara Popowith and they had 5 children. All settled in the Saskatchewan area, some of whom later moved to B. C.
