This research is on my Great grandfather on my mothers side,
he was born in Schwartzburg, Rudolfstadt, Germany I'm told is now a part of Thüringen in the middle of Germany, he was born August 18, 1836 and married had 1 son in Germany, he and his family immigrated to the Unites States in 1870 settled in Dayton, Ohio where his wife died, he later remarried and had 9 children with his second wife, they migrated to Cullman, Alabama.
His occupation was farmer. My search is directed to finding all Rothes that are related to John Christian Theador Rothe in
Germany, as I don't have his parents or brothers or sisters names
nor those here in the U.S.A. that migrated from Cullman, Alabama
