I have been researching the Murray/Canaday/Frank Rhum and Fred Brown/Jacob or Japheth Hand; John Edgar/Samuel Walker Family Tree; mainly located in the Lowell, Henry County, IA area. Also I am researching the William Blanchard/Henry Leudeman of Wever, Lee County,Iowa. I have been working on the Hand family Tree and it has been the most interesting and time consuming. Many discoveries have taken place including name changes and other fascinating events. I am having a great deal of difficulty in finding info on the Murray/Canaday and Rhum families.
I am interested in having a family reunion this summer so that the families can meet and update information. I am thinking of having one in early August before school starts. It would be a potluck: each family bringing a covered dish and a salad or dessert to share. Their own table service, lawn chairs, sports activities for the kids such as baseball, soccer, etc. I will be sending out info once I find a location to have the event.
