* The Diana Garrett Blackwelder Family Home Page*

Updated September 5, 2000

I have been working on my family tree for several years now. I have been lucky enough to trace the LABELLE, the HERRING, and the PETERSON lines of my family back to where they came over from Europe. The one line that has me stumped is the GARRETT line.
My GreatGrandfather was named Joel Littleton GARRETT. He was born in either 1860 or 1864 in either NC or SC (all depending on which census records I refer to). He was living in Wayne County, GA in the 1900 and 1910 census reports. It should also be noted that he was listed as Joseph in one and Jarrell in the other. I determined it was him by the children in the home. His wife's name was Sallie but I have no other information on her.

Some surnames included in my family are: ALDRIDGE, BARNES, BOUSQUET, CHARBONNEAU, DANIELS, FLOWERS, DRAPEAU, EITHIER, JOHNSON, PELLITIER and the ones mentioned above.
