This Family page is the result of over 30 years of looking, reading, and traveling to County Seats to record anything and all things about any Bobbitts. The assimilating of said information became much easer, after learning to use a computer. The hundres of discustions with family members at the few reunions held by the Bobitts gave invalueable information not found written dowm.
This writer, was able to trace his Direct Family Line of the Bobbitt Family back to Randolph 1752-1835, who married Fanny Walden with family records found in Ohio and Virginia.
Most other records, recored in this work are due to the life long work of John Bobbitt of Washington D.C. and his "Bobbitt Book", which this writer thinks should be considered as the main source of information for any Bobbitt Family research.
The book "Our Bobbitt Family" by Allen Wade Mount, Sr of Paririe Village, Kansas, 1972 should be use as a very good source of information in any Bobbitt Family Genealogy.
There is also a small book assembeled by this writer called, The Bobbitt Cemeteries of USA.
