I am researching the Bobowicz family name. My grandfather, Valentine Bobowicz was born December 21, 1877 in Rajah, Poland.
His father was Peter Bobowicz who was married to Frances Pitowarczyk. His mother died when he was 3 years old. I do not know if he had any siblings. The original Polish spelling of Bobowicz was Bobowiec pior to the Russian invasion of Poland. My
grandfather, Valentine, came to the United States after 6 years in the Calvary Regiment in Poland.

On July 5, 1905 in St. Stanislaus Church, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, he married Helena Oleksiak, born November 01, 1888 in Poland. She was the daughter of Adam Oleksiak and Anna Grodek.

I am willing to share information about the Bobowicz and Oleksiak
families. Any information would be appreciated.
