I don't know much about my father's side of the family. His name is Thomas Allen Boddie and his parents are Dorothy Boddie and Allen Alexander Boddie who both live in Taylor, Louisiana. From what I hear we're supposed to be descendants of the French king Charlemagne, and from what I'm told somebody in our family actually has written proof of that claim. I have 3 brothers Allen Shane Boddie, Heath Nathaniel Boddie, and Timothy Albert Boddie.
I believe most of our family is in the Jena, Louisiana area but as I said before, I have no idea. We've never had a reuinion during my lifetime so I know absolutely next to nothing about them.
There is a story going around that our last name was originally spelled Bodie but during a fued between two family members, one decided to add an extra "D". I have no idea if that's actually true or if that means I should be searching for the Bodies.
