About Our Family Research


I am researching the Dohmeyer/Dohmeier family from Germany.Heinrich Dohmeyer was born in 1593 in Hohnhorst, Schaumburg, Germany. He married Ilsche Blume in 1619.

Most of the descendants left Germany and settled in the USA, specifically, Will County, Illinois.

In addition, I am researching the August Bohn family. August Bohn was born in 1861, and married Emma Goeing in 1910. They also resided in Illinois.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information I have.
