I began this to help my daughter out and really got hooked on researching our ancestors. I am researching the surnames Dokey, Stout, Bond, Green, Bertrand, Fenner, Cooper, & Darbonne. I have gotten a lot of info on the Bertrand's and Darbonne's, but very little on the other surnames. We had a Bertrand Family Reunion on June 8, 9, & 10 of this year and it was wonderful. We are going to try to get together other family reunions as soon as possible. I grew up going to big family reunions and would like for Kris to do the same. I think it is a big part of feeling part of a family and taking pride in your family name.
