I have been working on our family's history for many years (on & off). Paternal surnames: Schutter or Scudder, Veneklassen or Venneklass, Witham, Swartz, Schafer, Schoonveld, Kremer, VanDerKooi and Vanlingen. Maternal surnames: McMiller or Miller, Wilson, Cuyler, Joslyn, Dailey, Terry, Shade, Cook, Brenner, Riegel, Kraft, Kirschner, Schaeffer, Dillon, Callicott or Callicoat, Sowards, Farley, Robinson, LeBotille and Foslerin.
I am searching desperately for information concerning my maternal grandfather and his family. His name was Lloyd Edward McMiller DOB: July 4, 1901, DOD: December 3, 1970, so far as I know he lived in Michigan his entire life and his parents were Daniel McMiller or Miller and Carrie Wilson. I cannot find my grandfather on any census. His parents divorced when he was quite young and I know he did not live with his mother as I found her on a census (1910) with my grandpa's little sister (Beatrice R.) and her new husband (Leland Frank Carpenter). I also found Daniel listed on a census (1910) as divorced, but my grandfather was not with him either.
