Main interest is the Dennis and Boniface line linking with:
Jane Boniface (born 1843) and Gaius Dennis (born 1845)
Both families of Jane and Gaius are from the Westham area,nr Eastbourne in particular Horns Westham as shown in the 1851 census.
It is believed that the Dennis family owned the farm and the Boniface family were agricultural labourers, Gaius married the farmers grand-daughter Jane!
In the 1881 census the name is spelt DENNES, believed to be a transcription error.
