uncles, father and mother. To try to understand who, when, what and where came before me.I would get little bit and peaceses here and there.when i was married in 1973 to Rhonda (merckens)Botti
thing changed for the better. My mother in law Rosemary Merckens
was working on thier family tree.My wife is a decendent of
william elder Brewster of the mayflower.also a decendent of the first lighthouse keeper of the marblehead light in marblehead,oh
by the name of B Wolcot from danbury conn..Marblehead light is the oldest continuing operting light on the great lakes started
in 1822.now for my side my grandfarther Botti cameto america in 1912 and my grandma Debra Botti along with my aunt Rose 11month
and uncle frank 5yrs.On my mothers side of the family I am related to Cormier,Mclane,Barton,Gray or Greyand It is possibly that Iam also Have some native American ancestrywhitch we are trying to work on posssibliy from the mohawk nation .it has been an on going process together information. when ever i can information when ever I can.I would to someday be able to give my children a better idea of who and wher they came from.According to my grandfather Henry Cormier he always told me he was part mohawk his dad came from a small town just south of montreal canada my greatgrandfathers mother claimed to be indianor that what i was told also my grand mother Helen mclane cormier told me that she had idian on her side also.
