| The Botts of Lancashire & Yorkshire have been researched to the late 18th century - but have come to a standstill. The direct male line continues with a John Walker - hawker of no fixed abode! The Bott line continues with Elizabeth Bott who is descended from the Staffordshire Botts. The Manleys (aka McEwen) have been traced to the mid-19th century in Manchester, with another line, REID being traced to Dublin, Ireland. |
