Jack Garzella Sr. was borned to immigrant parents , who came from Italy in the very early 1900's. They met in Gary, Indiana and married in 1915. His father, Giovanni, and his mother Maria (Pantoleone) Garzella died in 1942 and 1969, respectively.
Jack Sr. met and and married June Vullmahn of Gary, Indiana in 1940.June was the daughter of Christopher and Anna (Gregor)Vullmahn. The Vullmahns came from Germany to New York, and on to Wisconsin and Anna was borned in West Virginia.
Jack and June were blessed with six children, 3 boys and 3 girls. The Garzellas were active in church and school activities. Jack and June raised their family in a Christian home and instilled in them the moral characteristics that they have instilled in their children and they in their children.
Today, February 2, 2006, five of the Garzella children are still living and there are 13 Garzella Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren, from the blessed union of Jack and June Garzella Sr.
