Godfried sperling and his wife Chistina Haller left Prussia in 1850 on the Elbe with their two sons Frederick and August(b1839). They lived in Sheboygan Wis. and farmed and operated a flour mill. There August met and married Johanna Burhardt daughter of Gottlieb, they had the following children Emma Felthan,J.A.F., AnnieM married John Jones., Alvin H., Godfrey married Ida Mabel Bailey, Hannah married William Burkhardt , August, Alesander, Bertha. Frederick(1836-1822) married Anna Marie Mueller(1842-1909) daughter of Christopher. the lived most of their life in the Champaign-Urbana area of Illinois before moving to Claifornia where they are buried at IOOF cemetary in Boyle Heights, LA. they had the folllowing children-Dorothea(Dora)born 1861,married John Mariner, J.C. Rudolph married Anna McMahon, Marie married Mr. Erba, Olga, Laura Henrietta married James Flanagan McGowan.Would like to find more onfo on these folks and connections to them. Thank you Dawn
