I would be very happy to hear from anyone who can help me verify, expand, or correct any of the following:

My grandmother was Winnie Doretha (Retha) Autry Sampley. Her father was Samuel Alexander Autry,(born February 14, 1855), son of John A. Autry (born 1824) and Winneford (Winnie) Watson (born 1824). They were married September 19, 1847, in Carroll, Tennessee. John A. Autry was the son of William A. Autry and Mary Campbell. William A. Autry's Father was Elijah A. Autry (born 1770), who was the son of Elijah Autry, who was the son of Cornelius Autry. Cornelius Autry immigrated to North Carolina from Autry, France, in the early 1700's.

I have more information concerning siblings, etc., but this is the basic family tree outline. As I said, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
