I'm new at this, looking for my g grand parents and before.
My father is GEORGE WESLEY HARRIS,dob March 13, 1919,in Waycross, GA. His parents were SUSAN ELIZABETH STEWART dob july?and JOHN WESLEY HARRIS. His parents divorced and Susan then married LESTER LEE ANDERSON. JOHN HARRIS died in JACKSONVILLE, FL in the 1930's of wounds sustained in his capacity as a Railway Express guard. SUSAN died in the late 1940's in TAMPA, FL. There were no other childred of John and Susan, and no children from the union of LEE and SUSAN. I have been told that JOHN had previously been married and that his wife and child(ern) died during the flu epidemics.

My mother is ETHEL AHEARN HAPPOLD dob December 24, 1919, in Philadelphia, PA, Her parents were THEODORE HAPPOLD, dod December 26, 1891 or 2. His fathers name was GOTTLIEB HAPPOLD. may have immigrated from Germany. He had two brothers ALBERT HAPPOLD and a half brother from his mother's second marriage. I believe his last name is BROWN, possibly JOE. So far my grandfather HAPPOLD first shows up in the 1910 Cencus in the PA,D.C,VA, DE area.
ETHEL's mother was Camilla E. Ahearn, dob June 24, 1892. Her father was SAMUEL AHEARN and her mother was MILLIE (possibly CAMILLA) ALLEN.There were 3 siblings JAMES, WILLIAM, & sis FRANCIS (FAN).
