To date, most the information on the Boyd's has been gathered from relatives. Most notably, my great-Aunt Jean (Boyd) Paulsen who at the age of 94 still bakes bread everyday and one or two pies. She is an absolute gem and I don't see or speak to her often enough. We have successfully traced the Boyds back to the 1860 and Roane County, TN.

The DeLoach's (my mothers side)are a little more difficult and I haven't really had much time to do the research.
