BOYER descended from Johann Heinrich BEIER; immigrated 1723

About Our Family Research

My family settled in Ohio in the mid 1800s. Johann Heinrich BEIER
immigrated, came thru Schoharie NY in 1723 & soon after (?) moved to PA. His wife was Elizabeth Maria ZERBE. His second wife was Salome SUESS. I am slowly trying to track back to him for documentation. So far, I have not been able to find a ship list with him on it. His son, George, changed the name to BEYER, and his grandson, Rev. John, changed it back to the original? BOYER. I believe Reverend John was a bishop in the Mennonite Church.
So far, I have over 1200 names in my computer related to me in some way.
I am hoping to start a family newsletter in the near future, probably only an email newsletter until I get more addresses for relatives.
