Alice is my grandmother, died Mar 29, 1938 Both are buried in Winnipeg MB. She was born in Kentucky USA 1889. She married Edmund Ash of Brantford ONT and the first of 8 or 9 children was Leo Edmund Ash [my uncle] 1909 in Perbeck Alberta Canada.
In the 1950's I met a George May in Elnora AB who, my mother Grace, said was a cousin of hers. My mother's name on the marriage cert was actually Mary Anne Grace Ash but Grace is all I ever known.
I have not been able to find any real information on the MAY part of the family.
I have just begun the search again. I have a picture Grandma Alice and her first 3 boys, also in the pic is my great grandmother stated only as Grandma May.
