I began this search due to the fact, i was told my ancestors shot up a courthouse. So, to see if we were really kin to those famous Allen, so i began my search. i have found many ancestors after years of off and on research but have yet to open a road to where i orginally headed. James edward Allen was b. 10-18-1916.His father was Harve(Andrew) Allen, Andy(harve) Allen? b.1892. His mother was Flora Radford b. 1895 d. 1919. Names of his grandparents were J.C. Allen and Abbie Virginia Allen acording to a will and land information. Where they came from is a mystery and where they went to. It,s not apparent where she was buried although i have an inventory from her estate and her son in debt to it. I also am in great need of Siler info. from Vinton,Va.: Workman info from West Va.: and has anyone heard of a Whorley family in Ferrum,Va, with a daughter Marzella who m. a Sigmon b. 9-26-1905 d. 7-5-1992
