We have researched for approximately 10 years, visiting library genealody publications, (indian rolls, war documentation, county histories and records). We have visited area cemeteries, funeral homes and county genealogical collections. Our note accumulation is in great need of organizing, I still find information I had forgotten was there.
I now understand the caution 'you will get addicted to that stuff'. My husband and I have logged many miles together and I wouldn't trade a second of it. We still don't understand those who are not the least interested in their ancestors. What was their occupation? What does our names mean? How did we move here and when?
